Welcome to the 29th Season of the
Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra!

This year our program of “Music and the Dance” will feature pieces inspired by dance. We will continue our collaboration with local artists who will be featured in art exhibits at each of our concerts and in our program book. We will also partner with the Hilton Head Dance Theater and the Fred Astaire Studio to provide dance demonstrations prior to some of the concerts and danceduring other concerts. We hope you will view this season’s offerings with the same enthusiasm we share in bringing them to you.

The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra began 29 years ago with the purpose of offering an unparalleled concert experience to the Hilton Head Island area residents and visitors. Each year our accomplished conductor, musicians, soloists and distinguished guestartists put their heart and soul into each and every concert to bring you a new and exciting season.

We thank all of the community, our sponsors, our board and our staff — and most importantly, you, our audience, for sustaining our many programs. Your support enriches our community with the programs the HHSO has established: the HHSO Education and Outreach programs, the HHSO Youth Orchestra, the HH International Piano Competition, and the League of the HHSO.

Please be as generous as you can with your contribution this year. Your generosity enables us to grow, offer you the finest in Orchestral Music, and support the enrichment of arts and culture in our community.

Thank you and see you at the Symphony!
