Celebrating a new partnership with the renowned American Traditions Vocal Collection this new high energy three-concert cabaret series pays homage to legendary vocal hits of Broadway and American musical styles beyond. Curated by Mikki Sodergren, 2014 American Traditions Competition winner and ATC Executive and Artistic Director, this series features select ATC gold medal laureates. Each will sing the greatest of America’s stage music supplemented by their own affinities for a variety of American styles, and they all will be backed by a talented rhythm section of the Lowcountry’s best.  

Erica Gabriel, 2018 ATC Gold Medalist and 2021 HHSO Symphony Under the Stars guest artist, expands the Broadway portfolio for this one to include highlights from American operetta and spirituals. Her program features music from The Sound of Music, Waitress, The Wiz, and Wizard of Oz, and it mixes in a touch of music from Bernstein’s Candide and Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, adding some heartfelt spirituals to round out the program.

Three-course meals are provided by Rock Fish Seafood and Steaks at Bomboras in Coligny, offering main entrée choices of:

• roasted airline chicken breast, whipped potatoes, and rainbow vegetables with orange rosemary gravy;
• short ribs, whipped potatoes, and rainbow vegetables with a red wine Demi glacé (GF); and
• a vegetable fettuccine with marinara.

The evening opens with a tomato caprese course and concludes with a peanut butter shortbread with blackberry coulis dessert.
