Celebrating a new partnership with the renowned American Traditions Vocal Collection this new high energy three-concert cabaret series pays homage to legendary vocal hits of Broadway and American musical styles beyond. Curated by Mikki Sodergren, 2014 American Traditions Competition winner and ATC Executive and Artistic Director, this series features select ATC gold medal laureates. Each will sing the greatest of America’s stage music supplemented by their own affinities for a variety of American styles, and they all will be backed by a talented rhythm section of the Lowcountry’s best.  

Obviously, our inaugural performance could only be headlined by Mikki herself, now enjoying a dynamic career centered in NYC highlighted by performances in the Metropolitan Opera Chorus. Mikki’s vocal versatility will be on full display as she entertains us with popular Broadway hits, while tiptoeing into the silver screen and beloved classical melodies with some of her favorite songs to which you’ll find yourself humming along. 

For the first presentation of this new series, three-course meals are provided by Rock Fish Seafood and Steaks at Bomboras in Coligny, offering main entrée choices of a 6-ounce filet with whipped potatoes and asparagus with demi glacé (GF); jerk roasted ½ chicken with whipped potatoes and rainbow vegetable (GF); blackened local fish with cheesy grits, rainbow vegetable and pico de gallo (GF); and a roasted vegetable linguini with lemon alfredo sauce (V). The salad course is a spring mix, romaine, carrot, red onion salad with Italian dressing; and dessert is a dark chocolate cake crème en glacé topped with whipped cream.
