The League offers numerous volunteer opportunities for those who are looking to become more involved with your HHSO!

Swing Fore the Symphony Golf Tournament 
This fundraiser will be held Tuesday, November 12 at Moss Creek Golf Club. An informal breakfast is served during registration and a reception and silent auction follow the golf.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Planning committee, auction solicitors, day of tournament volunteers as well as golf foursomes.

Musicales
These are intimate and unique concerts held mainly in private homes. 
Volunteer Opportunities:
Home host: Volunteer your home for a Musicale; League volunteers will help with any chair setup and parking. 
Food preparation: Prepare and deliver hor d’oeuvres to the Musicale site.

Post-Concert Receptions
Receptions are held after some of the Monday evening HHSO concerts and are an opportunity to get together with other attendees and orchestra members while enjoying delicious treats and beverages. 
Volunteer Opportunities:
Reception captain: Makes phone calls to League members to provide and deliver several dozen cookies; oversees the event.
Server: serves punch, assists in setup and cleanup.

Concours d’Elegance
We support this multi-day motoring festival with volunteers who drive golf carts throughout the event.

Spring Fundraiser
This volunteer assists with the annual spring fundraising event.

Newsletter/Writing
This volunteer gathers information from committee chairs and edits it for our seasonal newsletter.

Social Media
This volunteer gathers highlights from League activities and prepares them for display on the Symphony’s League webpage and social media.

Computer Skills
Helps to maintain member information, produces name tags for events.  Familiarity with Excel, Word, Mail Merge appreciated.

Soundwaves
Located at 7 Lagoon Road, Soundwaves houses the Orchestra’s offices as well as numerous performances such as the Supper Club, Summer Chamber Music and the Jazz Festival.
Volunteer Opportunities: 
Usher, ticket sales and bartender.
Events are scheduled for various days of the week and start at 7:30pm with volunteers arriving at 6:00pm. Most events are over by 9:30pm. This is a fun opportunity to hear performances for free and meet other League members as well as performers and attendees.

HHI International Piano Competition/Bravo Piano
This event is held each year in March. It brings in competitors from around the globe who compete for monetary prizes as well as future concerts, including performing with the HHSO.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Hospitality Committee: Responsible for parties and finding hosts for competitors and judges.
Production Committee: Responsible for signage and stage equipment.
Performance Worker: Greeter/zip code collector, competitor escort, usher, inside door monitor and ticket/merchandise sales.

Symphony Under the Stars
The Orchestra offers two outdoor pops concerts each season, one in the fall and the other in spring. Concerts are held in Bluffton and at Celebration Park near Coligny Plaza. Volunteering for these events supports the League’s goal of increasing outreach into our community.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Greeter, raffle ticket sales.

Volunteer Ambassador
This volunteer welcomes new members and encourages their participation in League activities.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Welcome new members, familiarize them with volunteer opportunities and League events, and introduce them to other members. Assist committee chairs with finding volunteers for their events.
