Musicales
Music, Up Close
There’s something different about hearing great music just a few feet away.
Presented by the League of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Musicales bring musicians and music lovers together for intimate performances in some of the Lowcountry’s most welcoming settings.
These special gatherings pair live music with conversation, light refreshments and the chance to experience the artists in a way you simply can’t from a concert hall seat.

An HHSO Tradition for More Than 30 Years
The first League Musicale began simply: musicians, music lovers and friends gathered in a member’s living room to share an afternoon of music.
More than three decades later, that spirit remains at the heart of every Musicale.
Hosted in private homes and other intimate settings throughout the Hilton Head Island community, Musicales create a warm, relaxed atmosphere where League members can connect with one another while enjoying exceptional musicianship up close.
No two Musicales are quite the same.
One gathering might feature jazz standards and familiar favorites. Another might take guests on a musical journey around the world, introduce them to the stories behind a classical work or offer a closer look at an instrument rarely experienced from just a few feet away.
That variety is part of the fun.
Presented by the League of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra
Musicales are one of the League’s longstanding traditions and an important part of the community surrounding the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra.
League members support the HHSO through volunteerism, fundraising, special events and a shared enthusiasm for extraordinary music in the Lowcountry. Musicales offer another way to strengthen those connections while celebrating the musicians who make the music possible.
